    POSITION SUMMARY: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Dietary Aide. In this role, the successful candidate Performs a variety of duties including preparation and/or service of food on the patient trayline, work in the dishroom or potroom, and serving as the porter or kitchen cleaner.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Properly sets up workstations for the efficiency of meal service. Able to read patient menus on tray line. Able to serve at steam table using correct portion control utensils.
    • Performs other duties as assigned
    • Cleans up workstations in dish room and trayline. Follows proper proper sanitation and infection control procedures.
    • Follows work assignments correctly. Practices safe handling of cleaning chemicals. Follows proper safety procedures of food preparation. Understands the difference in diets offered.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To qualify you must have a High School or GED. Strong communication (both oral and written), and customer service skills. Ability to read well and write legibly. Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1- 2 years In Food Service.
