POSITION SUMMARY: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Technol, Ultrasound (Reg)- Maternal Fetal Medicine
In this role, the successful candidate responsible for the independent operation of sonographic equipment, and for performing diagnostic examinations using sonography. The Ultrasound Technologist may be responsible depending on work location for daily operations of the sonographic laboratory, patient schedule, equipment maintenance, reports of equipment failures, and quality assessment (QA). The sonographer maintains a high standard of medical ethics at all times and is self-motivated to increase their level of understanding & knowledge of the field, disease(s), and new procedures as they evolve.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To qualify, you must have a Technical diploma from an accredited 2 year ultrasound program required. Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) in Ob/Gyn Required. Certification for Nuchal Translucency and Nasal Bone from Nuchal Translucency Quality Review within 12 months of hire required. Thorough knowledge of ultrasound equipment required. Strong written and oral communication required. Excellent analytical problem solving skills required. Exemplary customer service skills required. Advanced computer skills required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) in Fetal Echocardiography preferred. 3-5 years experience as an Ob/Gyn Ultrasound Technologist preferred. Knowledge of EPIC EHR and ASOB ultrasound reporting system preferred.
