POSITION SUMMARY: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Dosimetrist. In this role, the successful candidate generates optimized patient-specific treatment plans in consultation with the Radiation Oncologist and the physicist. Performs selected daily or monthly quality assurance tasks and provides operational therapeutic radiological physics services as prescribed by the chief physicist of the Division of Radiation Oncology.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To qualify you must have a Graduate of RTT (Radiation Therapy Technologist) program or Bachelor's degree in Physics or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience as a medical dosimetrist or certification by the MDCB (in lieu of the 3 years of experience requirement). REQUIRED LICENSES: Certified Medical Dosimetrists
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor, s Degree Physics or related field. 1-2 years Experience in working as a dosimetrist in a Radiation oncology Setting.
