POSITION SUMMARY: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Radiology Technologist. In this role, the successful candidate Under the direction of a Radiologist; operates radiologic equipment to produce clinical diagnostic images and performs routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To qualify you must have a High School Diploma or GED required. Technical Diploma, Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiology or Imaging Services required. Current New York State Radiologic technician license OR New Graduate with temporary Permit. Must become registered before expiration of temporary permit required. American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required. Strong communication (both written and oral), problem solving, and customer service skills required. Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office required. Thorough knowledge of Radiography equipment required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1-2 years of Radiologic Technology experience preferred.
