Essential Job Functions / Duty

• Create initial manufacturing documents
• Process prefinished carbide drill blanks on drill fluting machine
• Setup and operate drill fluting equipment
• Perform in process inspection of fluting process
• Process fluted blank or recondition drill on pointing machine
• Setup and operate drill pointing machine
• Perform in process inspection of pointing process
• Wash as required
• Prepare drill for coating process as required
• Inspect coated drill
• Laser etch as required
• Clean and polish flute as required
• Print labels and complete documentation
• Package and ship

Required tasks

• Operate and setup TGR pointing machine
• Operate and setup ANCA machine for fluting
• Operate Zoellar inspection machine to inspect drill geometry
• Operate laser marking machine
• Operate Aerolap polishing machine
• Operate carbide cutoff saw
• Operate chamfer machine
• Operate laser gage
• Operate Alpha-set, tool setting machine
• Utilize CMS for shipping
• Manage production scheduling board
• Perform other assigned duties

Salary info:

$18 - $20 / hr
