    Nami Nori/Postcard Commissary Kitchen is looking for a detail oriented and organized Overnight Pastry Chef with a passion for the food industry and a focus on pastry products.

    Nami Nori is the first concept to specialize in open-style sushi hand rolls in New York City and is expanding with Postcard Bakery. Our mission is to create a devoted fan following for temaki and pastry through “omotenashi”, the Japanese art of gracious hospitality. We are committed to creating great experiences for both guests and employees alike.

    The ability to comprehend and follow verbal direction

    The ability to understand basic math

    The ability to work independently or as part of a team

    The ability to lift at least 50 pounds on a regular basis

    The ability to sit, bend, stoop, stand and perform extensive for 6-8 hours a day

    POSITION SUMMARY

    Responsible for prepping and packing goods up to the amount of business’s need and providing staff supervision and culinary support to the commissary kitchen as assigned by Head Commissary Chef.
