    Job Description

    A busy law firm specializing in personal injury and employment law, is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary or Paralegal for full time work. The ideal Legal Assistant, Paralegal or Legal Secretary will have a minimum of 2 years' legal experience, supporting attorneys in litigation case management. Responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining digital copies of legal documents and case files, e-filing in state courts, preparing trial binders and court forms under attorneys' supervision, coordinating depositions, basic client communication and other administrative functions as needed such as scanning, coping legal documents and calendaring appointments, hearings and deadlines. Attorneys are self-sufficient and often handle substantive tasks with little input, while the Legal Secretary or Legal Assistant will focus on form driven work, simple court filing and legal support. This role is ideal for someone who excels in fast-paced environments and interacting with peers and the general public.
