The Junior Nanny will support the Lead Nanny in a number of areas. RESPONSIBILITIES - Help pack daily backpacks and activity bags. - Help drop off and pick up children from school and activities. - Help prepare and pack snacks. - Help teach children age-appropriate skills, like dressing themselves, clearing their plates and cleaning toys. - Ability to support children's fine/gross motor skills. - Support bedtime routines. - Keep children's closets and common areas clean and tidy. - Support seasonal organization and sorting through kids' clothes. - Help bring in kids' items from car. - Keep playroom clean. - Support monthly cleaning of toys. - Support Lead Nanny to organize activities for children on days off. - Available to work late one week per month to support parents work travel. - Available to work on occasional weekend. QUALIFICATIONS - At least three years of experience as a nanny and/or preschool teacher. - Must be legally permitted to work in the U.S.. - Must speak English fluently. Native English speakers preferred. - Must have prior experience caring for kids ages 0-5. 2 - Preschool teaching and tutoring experience preferred. - Ability to swim. - Must be willing to undergo a background check. PREFERRED SKILLS AND PERSONALITY - Very clean and tidy and excellent hygiene, hand-washing - Ability to work in a team environment and support Lead Nanny - Punctual, flexible, and reliable. - Proactive, "pitch-in" attitude. - Experienced and safe driver. - Ability to travel with family on vacations. - CPR-certified or willingness to take a CPR-certification class.
