Responsibilities: Overview of the role: In addition to providing childcare, the Nanny/ Household Manager will manage daily household upkeep, organization, cooking, and errands. Cooking is an expected part of this role, including preparing children’s lunches daily and completing weekly meal prep for the family. Childcare/Nanny Duties: • Provide safe, attentive, and nurturing care for two children. • Engage children in age-appropriate play, learning activities, and outings. • Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children. • Assist with school preparation/homework, bus drop-off/pick-up, and after-school routines. • Support bedtime routines when needed. Household Management Duties: • Maintain household organization and cleanliness in kids’ spaces and all shared areas. • Perform housekeeping related to the family: laundry, dishes, tidying, wiping down the kitchen/dining table. • Complete weekly meal prep for the family. • Grocery shopping and stocking household supplies. • Run family errands (dry cleaning, pharmacy, post office, etc.). • Coordinate with household service providers (cleaners, landscapers, handyman, etc.). • Manage the family calendar for kid-related activities and appointments. • Help prepare for family events and special occasions (e.g., birthdays, holidays). • Assist with other administrative or personal tasks as assigned. • Handle trash and recycling. Travel Arrangements: • Book and manage all travel and accommodation arrangements, including flights, hotels, and ground transportation. • Prepare travel itineraries and ensure all necessary documents are organized. Qualifications: • Previous experience as a personal assistant, household manager, or nanny preferred. • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail. • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude, and reliability. • Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities. • Comfortable with children and capable of creating a nurturing, structured environment. • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required. • A bachelor's degree is a plus. Preferred: CPR/First Aid certification and a background in early childhood care. Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 yearly
