A busy professional family in Boston's South End is seeking a dedicated and experienced Household Manager/Nanny to care for their three children, ages 10, 8, and 5. The ideal candidate will be a reliable, organized, and nurturing individual who can seamlessly manage household tasks while providing exceptional childcare.
Position Overview:
This is a full-time position with a guaranteed 40 hours per week, with potential for overtime. The primary responsibilities include:
- Childcare:
- Providing after-school care for three children
- School pick-up and drop-off
- Assisting with homework and extracurricular activities
- Coordinating and attending children's activities in the city
- Household Management:
- Packing lunches
- Grocery shopping
- Light housekeeping and organization
- Running errands as needed
Qualifications Needed:
We are seeking a candidate who:
- Resides in Boston or has easy access to the city.
- Possesses strong organizational and time management skills.
- Has 3+ years experience in caring for school-aged children
- Must have current Pediatric & Adult CPR/First Aid certification.
- Must be confident and a proactive problem-solver
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have flexibility to start slightly earlier or later on some work days.
- Must be able to show proof of legal right to work in the US.
Compensation, Schedule, and Benefits
- Start Date: September 1, 2024
- Monday to Friday from 12 to 7pm, additional hours will be added.
- $30-$35 per hour.
- A company car will be provided for work-related duties.
- Guaranteed Hours- 40/week
- Monthly Parking Pass (If needed)
- Other negotiable benefits
