Live-in Nanny/Housekeeper needed for a family with one 2 year old child. Ideal candidate has prior experience working with infants and toddlers, the family is planning on having a second baby. Looking for someone who is reliable and flexible. Must be comfortable around pets, there is a cat at the home.

• Pay: $25 per hour
• Start date: March or April  2024
• Hours: 1 morning per week, a few afternoon/evenings per week from 5:30pm-10pm and a couple hours on Sunday.
• Guaranteed 25-30 hours every week

• Live-in accommodations: apartment with its own entrance (shared foyer), living room/kitchen + bedroom and bath, and washer & dryer

Childcare duties:

• Occasional back-up childcare when full time nanny is out sick, being available to do back up occasionally
• Mom travels for work 1x per month. Must be available for late afternoon/dinner/bed time + morning wake up and overnight
• Prep some kid-meals for the week

• Occasional travel with family (not required)

Housekeeping duties:

• Daily kitchen clean up, light cleaning/tidying of downstairs and upstairs (take out trash and recycling, clean up any egregious kid messes).
• Laundry
• Use eco-friendly cleaning products and practices
• Keep track of household items that will need restocking

• Occasional car-based errands (take things to goodwill, take the kid to his grandparents), vehicle can be provided

Requirements:

• COVID-19 vaccination
• First Aid/CPR Certification preferred
• Valid driver's license and vehicle
• Must have relevant childcare and housekeeping experience
• Show proof of your legal right to work in the United States
• Provide 3-5 professional references
