We're looking to hire an on-site full-time (no-remote) engineer at our office on Townsend (in San Francisco) to help us build out the next generation of cloud infrastructure.

If you have experience at the systems level (assembly, c, device drivers, etc.) that's a huge plus although this particularly job will primarily be working with a bunch of Go codebases.

While this job involves knowledge of linux networking, filesystems and such it very much involves writing vast amounts of code daily. This is not a devops job - it is a full time software engineering job.

REQUIREMENTS:

• You MUST know how to code in Go - this a Go role.
• You MUST have linux skills - like devops/sysadmin level - we work at the hypervisor level so actual hands on linux experience is a must.
• Knowledge of common system design patterns.
• Respect and knowledge of common algorithms and data structures - we heavily utilize them every single day.
• Relational database skills.
• Linux routing.
• Hopefully you can code in c/asm but not a requirement for this role.
• You must have work authorization to work in the US - we currently aren't doing sponsorships or H1-transfers.
