    Microfluidics Cartridge Fabrication Intern NanoCellect Biomedical - San Diego, CA 92121 $14 - $16 an hour - Full-time, Internship General Job Description This person is responsible for fabricating microfluidic chips and assembling disposable cartridges at NanoCellects cleanroom. Individual must exhibit high degree of attention to detail and follow multi-step processes accurately and rapidly. This person will participate in general microfluidics production, including: Fabricate PDMS-Glass chips using air plasma treatment Assembly of microfluidic cartridges; including populating, QC and packaging Operations involve extensive use of stereoscopes/microscopes and performance of precision tasks requiring a high level of attention to details. Must be able to follow specific procedures and remain focused on exact and repetitive assembly tasks. Recording manufacturing tasks in batch records as well as computer data entry. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. Qualifications : * BS or MS degree student majoring in engineering Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: * Must have experiences in microfluidic manufacturing using PDMS * Microfabrication capabilities in clean room is a plus * Highly organized with good attention to detail * Can quickly learn and apply new skills, processes, and approaches * Good communication skills (verbal and written English) Good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity needed. * Excellent interpersonal skills required. * Basic computer literacy with MS Office or Google Doc software environment Job Types: Full-time, Internship Salary: $14.00 to $16.00 /hour Experience: * PDMS fabrication: 1 year 16 hours ago - save job
