    SUMMARY

    The focus of this job is on producing high quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines and procedures. Precise, consistent work output is essential requiring patience and a willingness to handle and complete one task at a time.

    The job environment promotes steady, methodical work output so that job routines can be completed on time and error-free. This position is designed to develop a valued expert who can deliver quality work on a consistent basis.

    • Assist with the preparation and organization of legal documents.
    • Support General Counsel in policy-related research, drafting and training, and in creating and maintaining guidelines to help streamline processes.
    • Implement and manage legal technologies to promote department efficiency and scalability including contract management systems and document repositories.
    • Maintain document management system
    • Maintain legal department online project management tools to ensure project tracking and deadline compliance 
    • Proof read legal documents including: agreements, IP filings, stock certificates, stock ledgers, IRS filings, diligence analysis, data and spreadsheets.
    • Runs multiple key comparison of complex original vs. modified documents, while maintaining current version of document in document management system
    • Interact with internal and external stakeholders  
    • Maintain attorney schedule and input all meetings, travel and appointments into calendar
    • Develop, implement, and manage signature process on contracts and storage in centralized repository.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 3-5 years of legal assistant experience
    • Expert-level experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word,Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills and can manage conflicting priorities
    • High aptitude to learn new technologies

    We offer a total estimated compensation package of $40,000 - $60,000 (base salary plus 30% bonus potential paid quarterly based on divisional and company KPIs.)  We offer health, dental, vision, FSA, life insurance, 401k, and three weeks of paid time off plus one week for year-end vacation.
