We are currently seeking an Identity and Access Control Analyst in our Information Technology reporting directly to the Data Compliance Manager, Information Security.  

The position can reside in the Dallas, Houston or Los Angeles office and as a member of the Information Security team supporting a world-class law firm, the Identity and Access Control Analyst will play a critical role in the day to day execution, of the firm's Identity and Access Management (IAM) Program. The IAM Analyst will have hands-on access control, account life cycle management, workflow, and governance experience supporting a mature IAM program. The ideal candidate will work on security functions associated with identity and access governance, such as policies, process documentation, role management, and access certification within the program. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION INCLUDE:

• Works directly with internal IT teams, human resources, and firm leadership as it pertains to access control, provisioning, de-provisioning, account lifecycle, group and distribution list management
• Maps access entitlements to the relevant business and IT roles
• Adherence to ISO standards and active involvement in process enhancement and development.
• Ensures access controls are functioning as designed by monitoring IAM services and workflows
• Maintains system and operational protocols by writing and updating standard operating procedures
• Maintains positive and collaborative working relationships with peers, other IT personnel and other firm personnel consistent with the firm’s Core Values
• Maintains and supports day-to-day operations of all aspects of the IAM program
• Handle all other duties as assigned by the IAM Program Coordinator and Data Compliance Manager or other firm management in a timely and productive manner

QUALIFICATIONS (EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES):

• College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Information Security or IT Operations background with minimum of three plus years’ experience
• Familiarity with how IAM technologies work at a conceptual level
• Demonstrated knowledgeable in cybersecurity technologies and practices and their relationship to IAM
• Demonstrated knowledgeable of information security principles and practices
• Working knowledge of Active Directory
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions
• Ability to communicate with attorneys and staff in an effective, non-technical manner
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust to changing priorities in a professional manner
• Willingness and ability to assume new tasks and responsibilities
• Proven ability to maintain and update technical knowledge and skills
• Strong service orientation, and an ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with users, peers, office and firm management, and outside business partners
• Ability to work well under pressure, facilitate solutions, and meet deadlines and milestones for projects assigned

  • 5+ yrs bookkeeping experience in a multi-client based environment
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Prior experience in public accounting firm preferred
  • Prior payroll & payroll tax processing required
  • QuickBooks experience required
  • Superior communication skills
  • Ability to travel to clients as needed (mileage reimbursed)
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to work independently & as part of a team to meet deadlines
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting
