  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    The HR Intern will provide support for the day-to-day activities of the Human Resources department. The intern will gain hands-on experience with a variety of activities including recruiting, employee engagement, internal communication, and onboarding. Key responsibilities will include assisting with the organization of employee engagement activities, pre-screenings of job applications, help gather content for the employee newsletter, assisting with the onboarding process prior to new hires’ first day of employment and other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    All interns must be students at accredited colleges and universities.

    • The internship must be a part of the student’s curriculum OR the internship must provide earned hours that are directly applied to the student’s degree.
    • Interns must work a minimum of 135 hours per semester.
    • Interns must be high-energy, detail-oriented, team players.
    • Internships do not provide compensation.
    • Internships do not guarantee full-time positions with the Symphony upon completion.
