Corporate Partnerships Internship – Fall 2017
Job Description
The Corporate Partnership Intern will provide general support to the
Corporate Partnership team, which is responsible for creating strategic
marketing partnerships and related activities for the Nashville
Symphony. This internship position will have the opportunity to learn
about the Nashville Symphony’s revenue generating areas including
individual giving, corporate sponsorships, grants, and institutional
giving. Specific activities include:
1. Assisting with current
corporate partner accounts by providing quality customer service and
participating in the partner renewal process
2. Participate in
the new partnership sales process including observing client meetings,
creative brainstorming and proposal development
3. Gain
experience working with internal departments (tickets, marketing, PR,
building operations, orchestra administration, etc…) around executing
corporate sponsorship campaign elements
4. Support corporate
partner prospects research efforts in identifying/qualifying
corporations and outlining common strategic business and community
relations platform initiatives
5. Perform other duties as assigned
