  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    The Accounting Intern will provide support for the Finance team. The intern will focus on assisting in the following duties: annual budget process, creation of financial models, financial analysis, reviewing monthly financial statements, preparing A/P checks, audits, journal entries, and more.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    All interns must be students at accredited colleges and universities.

    • Some experience working with Great Plains accounting software is preferred, but not required.
    • The internship must be a part of the student’s curriculum.
    • The internship must provide earned hours that are directly applied to the student’s degree.
    • Interns must work a minimum of 135 hours per semester.
    • Interns must be available to work some evenings and select weekends during the season.
    • Interns must be high-energy, detail-oriented, team players, and organized.
    • Internships do not provide compensation.
    • Internships do not guarantee full-time positions with the Symphony upon completion.
