Orchestra Library Internship – Spring 2019
Job Description
The Orchestra Library Intern will provide support for the day-to-day activities of the Nashville Symphony’s Library, which is responsible for the procurement and preparation of all music performed by the Nashville Symphony Orchestra. The intern will gain hands-on experience assisting the Orchestra Librarians with a variety of activities including transferring of bowings, photocopying parts and scores, preparing audition music, inputting data in the Orchestra Planning and Administration System (OPAS), compiling and breaking down orchestral folders, proof-reading and checking of errata and repairing music. Prior experience in a music library is a plus.
Qualifications
All interns must be students at accredited colleges and universities.
