    Job Description

    NASSAU CANDY IS A PREMIER MANUFACTURER, IMPORTER AND DISTRIBUTOR OF CANDY, SPECIALTY CONFECTIONS, GOURMET FOODS AND CUSTOMIZED PRODUCTS.

    We are seeking a strong CUSTOMER RELATIONS SPECIALIST to join our candy distribution division.

    The Customer Relations Specialist is focused on understanding and supporting the needs of our customers and connecting individuals to the right Nassau Candy Team Member. This entails fully supporting the online lead request process to qualify leads, assign potential accounts to our sales team, process web registrations, and assign customer service tickets.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Prequalify and review all leads that are generated in WebBot from Drift
    • Identify business needs by researching and speaking to customers to better understand the objective and sales potential
    • Confirm information and load details into the Deacoom ERP platform
    • Assign prospective customers to team members
    • Schedule meetings between the customer and the designated sales team representative as needed
    • Process web registrations to enable customers to shop on our websites
    • Answer customer service tickets that are generated by Drift or assign to the appropriate customer service team member if needed
    • Respond to Live Chat and effectively address requests for support
    • May perform other duties and participate in other projects as needed

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a Customer Service or related field. Experience supporting Sales in a CPG organization is preferred.

    • A High School diploma is required; Some college, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • PC Literacy including experience with Microsoft Office applications
    • Prior experience with Live Chat and ERP systems preferred
    • Able to communicate in both written and verbal form effectively
    • Organized with exceptional follow-up
    • Can multi-task in a dynamic work environment
    • Ability to think and respond quickly and intelligently
