Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Account Manager to join our team, specializing in the automotive sector. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a robust book of business, identifying and closing new opportunities, and building long-term, strategic relationships with clients. You will collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and drive business success.
This is a remote position with occasional travel (up to 20%) for site visits, industry events, and client meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively manage and grow existing national accounts in the automotive industry, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Proactively identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within the automotive market.
- Conduct regular meetings (virtual and in-person) with clients to understand their needs, present solutions, and build trusted partnerships.
- Work closely with internal teams including marketing, product, operations, and customer success to deliver tailored solutions and support to clients.
- Develop and execute account plans and growth strategies to exceed revenue and retention goals.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of account management or business development experience, with at least 2 years in the automotive industry.
- Highly motivated, proactive, and capable of managing priorities independently in a remote work environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Demonstrated success working across departments to drive customer outcomes.
- Ability to analyze data, understand business metrics, and develop strategic solutions based on insights.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% for site visits, client meetings, and industry conferences.
- Experience working with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, or dealer networks.
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
- Strong understanding of automotive trends and the mobility ecosystem.
