The National Accounts Sales Representative is responsible for developing and nurturing long-term relationships with a portfolio of customers by connecting them with key business executives and stakeholders. This role serves as a critical liaison between customers and cross-functional internal teams, ensuring timely, successful delivery of services aligned with customer needs. You’ll manage and grow key accounts while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction and trust. Your primary goal is to drive customer success through strategic account management and proactive support.
Essential Functions:
- Demonstrate a solid foundation and proven experience in Commercial and Industrial HVAC & Refrigeration service.
- Generate leads and drive sales through existing industry contacts and business development efforts.
- Engage clients in technical discussions, addressing concerns and designing customized, industry-proven solutions.
- Independently prepare HVAC service proposals without relying on technical or administrative support.
- Manage sales opportunities from prospecting through closeout in collaboration with regional operations.
- Understand and navigate the economic dynamics of the HVAC/R industry.
- Identify and prioritize high-value opportunities aligned with company growth strategy and capabilities.
- Work collaboratively within account-focused teams, including strong communication with admin and operations.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support the overall success of the team.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Commercial/Industrial HVAC & Refrigeration service sales.
- Self-motivated with a track record of success in a results-driven environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Adaptable with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to write proposals and correspondence professionally.
- Proficient in operating computers, business systems, and general office equipment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and details simultaneously (cost tracking, scheduling, progress monitoring).
