    Job Description

    National Airlines, based in Orlando, FL, operates a fleet of B747, B757 and A330 aircraft to provide customers with a broad array of domestic and international operations. National Airlines specializes in time sensitive and special handling requirements, utilizing 757-200, 747-400 and A-330 aircraft to accomplish its missions worldwide. 

    Job Title: Operations Analyst

    Reports To: Assistant Director of SOC 

    FLSA Status: Non-Exempt 

    Summary: National Airlines is currently searching for an Operations Analyst.  National Airlines, based in Orlando, Florida operates scheduled and on-demand charter and cargo worldwide. Together with sister company, National Air Cargo, National offers integrated freight forwarding and customized cargo and passenger services utilizing National's 757-200s, A330-200 and 747-400 aircraft and specializing in over-sized, time sensitive, and special handling requirements. The Operations Analyst provides administrative support to ensure the accuracy of all flight operational records and reports. The Operations Analyst is a regular full-time position with work conducted within the Operations Control Center during regular business hours, Monday through Friday. 

    Essential Functions 

    • Retrieve, audit, and archive Flight Release paperwork and all supporting documentation 

    • Audit data entered into Company systems to ensure accuracy, and make corrections and entries as required 

    • Analyze data and generate reports as necessary in order to improve the operation and related processes 

    • Conduct reconciliation of operations-related expenses to ensure proper allocation and accuracy of expenses conveyed to accounting 

    • Ensure operations records are audited, filed, and maintained in accordance with Company policies and procedures in order to ensure compliance with related Federal Aviation Regulations 

    • Report documentation irregularities to Supervisor and/or OCC management 

    • Provide recommendations to improve procedures and processes 

    • Assist with SOC-required shipping needs

     

    Supervisory Responsibility: No    

    Qualifications: 

    • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma 

    • Aviation education and experience in the aviation industry preferred  

    • Two years general office experience preferred 

    • Exceptional communication skills with complete fluency in written and spoken English 

    • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of software products Strong Excel and PowerPoint  

    • Organizational fit for the National Airlines culture 

    • Able to work in a team environment 

    • Strong attention to detail and organization skills 

    • Regular attendance and punctuality 

    • Ability to pass a ten-year background check, pre-employment drug test and criminal history records check

     

     

    Physical Effort: 

    • Will be sitting for extended periods at a time 

    • Must be able to carry 15lbs
