Job Summary
We are seeking a professional Security Guard to join our team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to create a safe and secure environment. You will protect our premises, assets, and employees and prevent any illegal or inappropriate occurrences. The ideal candidate has experience with security, public safety, using mobile devices to create incident & daily reports and operates with a high degree of integrity at all times.
Available Shifts & Locations: FT/PT AVAILABLE Mondays - Thursdays 3:00pm - 11:00pm (NIGHT WATCH), San Fernando, CA 11:00pm - 7:00am (MORNING WATCH), San Fernando, CA
Fridays 2:00pm - 11:00pm (NIGHT WATCH), San Fernando, CA 11:00pm - 7:00am (MORNING WATCH), San Fernando, CA
Saturdays & Sundays 7:00am - 3:00pm (DAY WATCH), San Fernando, CA 3:00pm - 11:00pm (NIGHT WATCH), San Fernando, CA 11:00pm - 7:00am (MORNING WATCH), San Fernando, CA
Responsibilities
Patrol the premises and maintain a high level of visibility
Scanning checkpoints during vehicle or foot patrol tours
Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel access the facility
Remove trespassers when necessary
Respond to reports of suspicious activity
Report on daily activities and any security incidents (Incident Reports)
Qualifications
US Citizen or must show proof of authorization to work in the US
CURRENT Guard card
Valid Drivers License & reliable transportation
BATON card, TEAR GAS/ PEPPER SPRAY card & FIRST AID & CPR card
Previous experience as a Security Guard or in a similar position is preferred
Must have ability to use a smartphone
High school diploma/GED
Strong understanding of public safety and security procedures
Written communication skills and report writing ability
Ability to operate surveillance equipment
High level of integrity and professionalism
Attention to detail and strong observational skills
Ability to work without direct supervision
