  • Responsibilities

     

    Under direct to moderate supervision following standard procedures with some independent judgment, plans, designs, creates and executes both manual and automated testing for moderate software program implementations.  Acts as liaison within the IT department and business units to provide an efficient, cost effective means to execute and validate test cases.

     

    What you Will Be Doing:

     

     Plan, design and prepare testing requirements

     Ensure adequate testing is completed prior to implementation

     Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development life cycle

     Collaborate with the testing team and application developers to improve overall quality and efficiency

     Create defect handling procedures and ensure they are followed

     Develop automated test scripts and assist in the management, workflow and storage of test cases for all phases of testing

     

     

    Required Skills

    • 4-6 years of related experience and/or training
    • Bachelor’s Degree from a college or university
    • Strong technical and analytical skills
    • Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and presentation
    • Experience with Automated testing processes and software

    Required Experience

    • Four to six years related experience and/or training; or bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college/university; or equivalent combination of education and related experience/training.

    • A minimum requirement for this position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
