We are seeking a skilled and experienced Azure Engineer with a strong background in Microsoft Azure and automation. You will be a key member of the Systems Engineering team within our IT Operations and Infrastructure department, responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Azure-based solutions for our organization. Your expertise in Azure technologies, coupled with your automation experience, will be instrumental in optimizing our cloud infrastructure, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving business growth. This is a hands-on technical role that requires a deep understanding of Azure services, infrastructure, and automation frameworks.

​Knowledge of:

· Azure Certification : Possess at least an AZ-104 or higher certification, demonstrating a strong understanding of Azure services, architectures, and management.

· Azure Infrastructure: Advanced experience in designing, implementing, and managing Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and security.

· Automation Expertise: Intermediate experience in developing automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates, or similar frameworks.

· CI/CD Experience: Intermediate familiarity with implementing CI/CD pipelines for Azure resources using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or other relevant technologies.

· Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving Skills: Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues related to Azure infrastructure, services, and deployments.

· Collaboration and Communication: Intermediate interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

· Cloud Security Knowledge: Intermediate understanding of cloud security principles, best practices, and compliance requirements, with experience implementing security measures for Azure resources.

· Bachelor's Degree: A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory. Relevant work experience and certifications will also be considered.

Preferred Skills :

· Additional Azure certifications, such as AZ-303 and AZ-304 (Azure Solutions Architect).

· Knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell or Python.

· Knowledge of serverless computing and Azure Functions.

· Familiarity with Azure monitoring and logging tools, such as Azure Monitor and Azure Log Analytics.

· Experience with Azure security best practices and Azure Security Center.

· Understanding of hybrid cloud architectures and integration with on-premises systems.

EDUCATION : List the basic (minimum) education, certification, and/or licensing needed to be successful in the position.

· Bachelor’s degree (​computer science preferred)

· 5-8 years of experience

EXPERIENCE IN LIEU OF DEGREE:

· ​Eight years of applicable experience in addition to the required years of experience.
