    Job Description

    A THRIVING HEALTHCARE COMPANY THAT SPECIALIZES IN PROVIDING FREE COVID TESTING IS EXPANDING AND GROWING ITS COVID RESPONSE TEAM AND IS LOOKING FOR A TALENTED AND EXPERIENCED EMPLOYEE RELATIONS MANAGER TO JOIN THE HR TO SUPPORT OUR RAPIDLY GROWING NON-PROFIT. A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST BE AN ORGANIZED TEAM PLAYER WHO IS ABLE TO MANAGE MULTIPLE PRIORITIES AT ONCE. THEY WILL BE IMMERSED IN ALL THINGS RELATED TO OUR EMPLOYEES, AND WILL SUPPORT HR INITIATIVES, PROJECTS, AND PROGRAMS. THIS HR PROFESSIONAL WILL WORK WITH HR AT THE COMPANY’S HEADQUARTERS IN LOS ANGELES, AND THEN PARTNER WITH REGIONAL HR MANAGERS IN ORDER TO SUPPORT ALL EMPLOYEE RELATIONS MATTERS IN THE FIELD.

    EMPLOYEE RELATIONS

    · PARTNER WITH REGIONAL HR MANAGERS AND LEADERSHIP TO RESOLVE EMPLOYEE RELATION ISSUES; PROVIDE COACHING AND COUNSELING TO MANAGEMENT AND STAFF AT ALL LEVELS

    · RESPOND TO HR-RELATED QUESTIONS AND ISSUES ON TOPICS SUCH AS: POLICY INTERPRETATION, DISABILITY MANAGEMENT, DISCIPLINE, DEMOTIONS, WORKFORCE RESTRUCTURES, WORKPLACE CONFLICTS, JOB ELIMINATIONS AND OTHER TERMINATIONS

    · ANALYZE TRENDS AND UTILIZE DATA TO DEVELOP SOLUTIONS, PROGRAMS AND POLICIES

    · PERFORM EMPLOYEE EXIT PROCESS – FACILITATE THE LAYOFF, TERMINATION OR DEPARTURE PROCESS OF EMPLOYEES

    POLICIES AND COMPLIANCE

    · HELP CRAFT, IMPLEMENT, INTERPRET AND GUIDE VARIOUS HR COMPLIANCE AND EMPLOYMENT POLICIES AND PROCESSES

    · MAINTAIN IN-DEPTH UNDERSTANDING OF ALL LEGAL REQUIREMENTS

    · IDENTIFY TRAINING NEEDS AND PROVIDE TRAINING (SEXUAL HARASSMENT, PIP AND DISCIPLINARY ACTION) AND COACHING ON EMPLOYEE ISSUES, POLICIES AND PROCEDURES AND LEGAL COMPLIANCE  

    INVESTIGATIONS

    · IN COLLABORATION WITH REGIONAL HR MANAGERS, CONDUCT THOROUGH AND OBJECTIVE INVESTIGATIONS INTO ISSUES, AND RECOMMEND LEVEL OF DISCIPLINARY ACTION AFTER INVESTIGATIONS ARE COMPLETE

    · COLLECT AND PROCESS EMPLOYMENT RELATED PAPERWORK TO ENSURE THAT WEEKLY PAYROLL IS PROCESSED ACCURATELY AND EFFICIENTLY

    · CONDUCT THOROUGH INVESTIGATIONS OF COMPLAINTS OF DISCRIMINATION, HARASSMENT, BULLYING AND OTHER VIOLATIONS OF HR POLICY AND ENSURE APPROPRIATE ACTIONS ARE TAKEN
