    National Journal seeks an ASSOCIATE, HUMAN RESOURCE OPERATIONS to join the Talent & Culture team. This role will primarily drive engagement in our performance management system as well as our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion work. The associate will research and serve as project manager for internal and external DEI efforts, support staff-led DEI groups, and manage daily tasks and timelines for programs and initiatives--including but not limited to performance reviews and professional development. The associate will also serve as the administrator for annual reviews. 

    The associate should be collaborative and service-minded, with an appreciation of DEI best practice and willingness to learn more. This person should be able to manage time when working on multiple projects and tight deadlines, across multiple functions of HR and business operations.

    QUALIFICATIONS OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

    • Extreme attention to detail and organization 

    • Experience supporting or engaging in Employee Resource Groups is a plus

    • Demonstrated proficiency managing competing project priorities and adhering to timelines.

    • Experience in reporting and deck building

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Supporting administrative aspects associated with reviews, performance management and training

    • Serve as the project manager for DEI initiatives and implementation

    • Support in invoicing

    • Participate in onboarding and offboarding of National Journal Staff

    • Lead reporting on engagement, reviews and performance management

    REMOTE STATUS: Remote through 2021

    COMPENSATION: The salary range for this role is $40,000-$55,000
