Primary Responsibilities

The personnel in this position are tasked with care and feeding of marine mammals and safety and maintenance of property and facilities during Night Watch hours.

Essential Functions

Perform preparation of rations, and cleaning of food preparation areas, animal enclosures and commons areas

Maintain and clean specialized equipment

Perform feeding and administration of food supplements

Perform observation of marine mammals

Assist with basic husbandry

Operation and maintenance of small watercraft may be required.

The job is for the Night Watch team and is a Relief Position (on-call). There is no guarantee of hours but expectations of at least 8 hours per month as shifts open. No benefits.
