Executive Operations Assistant
Position:
Executive Operations Assistant for the NMMF’s Executive Director (ED) & Executive Operations Officer (EOO)
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
In direct support of the EOO, drafts communications and fundraising materials, creates and oversees social media posts, coordinates fundraising and community events, and supports donor management
Coordinates all aspects of the ED’s calendar, to include scheduling meetings and coordinating travel
Handles all logistics associated with travel, to include bookings, agendas, comms, and expense reporting for ED and EOO
Manages purchasing and financial tracking for ED and EOO
Communicates on behalf of the ED, both internally and externally, as directed by the ED and EOO
Creates, formats, and edits correspondence and presentations with minimal oversight
Proactively manages and prioritizes incoming communications and ensures timely response
Follows up on various tasking and activities to ensure closure, completion, and deadlines are being met
Identifies and executes additional tasking in direct support of the ED and EOO
Performs additional duties as requested by the ED and EOO

Excellent references from current and previous employers/clients
Preference will be given to applicants who have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in the field of conservation, science, or medicine
Holds a bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university
Time commitment:
Full-time position. Days can be full, demanding, and often extend beyond a standard work day, therefore the candidate must be flexible and willing to work additional hours as needed and upon request. Structured hours will fall between 8AM and 3PM M-F in the San Diego home office; with the remaining hours on a flex schedule to address tasking after hours and on weekends as needed.

Salary:
Commensurate with experience. Full-time, exempt, with full benefits package. Salary range $50,000-$80,000.
