    Assists Regional Directors of Operations and Executive Directors with community supervision and management on a temporary, extended or as needed basis. May be assigned to a community during a director vacancy, start up, acquisition, and leaves of absence. May support the regional operations team with special projects, quality assurance or support operationally and sales focused communities.

    Conducts operations that are consistent with strategic initiatives to uphold and improve occupancy, resident satisfaction, team member satisfaction, and operational effectiveness. Successfully functions in multiple roles to comprehensively support the community in all areas of operations and quality assurance.

    1. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of community operations.
    2. Provides strategy, support and vison to improve community performance. Demonstrates a high level of understanding and implementation of SRC standards, policies, procedures and state regulatory requirements.
    3. Builds high degree of resident satisfaction and retention by maintaining positive resident relations, being accessible and approachable to residents and their families. Works to resolve issues identified by residents and/or their family members.
    4. Understands the community’s staffing needs and assists in the recruitment and retention of qualified staff. May interview and recommend hiring qualified team members.
    5. Demonstrates and influences a positive and supportive team atmosphere.
    6. Actively monitors labor hours and aids in reduction of overtime.
    7. Reviews finances and budgets to support the financial integrity of the community
    8. May assist and collaborate with the clinical team to organize, develop, and conduct service plan reviews
    9. Supervises and audits the maintenance of resident charts to meet state regulations.
    10. Supervises and audits the maintenance of team members' files to meet state regulations.
    11. Actively supports community sales, resident admissions, resident assessments and discharge procedures. Collaborates with Regional Sales to achieve occupancy goals.
    12. May assist with and/or conduct team member performance reviews and/or disciplinary actions
    13. May assess the training needs for staff and provide coaching and training as needed.
    14. Ensures the community and grounds are clean and maintained to SRC standards.
    15. Supervises, directs, and motivates community directors while empowering them to supervise, direct, and motivate staff; ensures department leaders proactively recognize and solve issues. Holds department leaders accountable for department performance.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    • 5+ years’ experience in Senior Housing

    • 3-5 years leadership experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

    • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

    • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

    • A demonstrated ability to lead others

    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

    • Thrives in an organized, collaborative, detail-oriented environment

    • Strives for excellence in oneself and others

    • Able to complete assigned tasks independently and deliver on time

    • Must be licensed according to state requirements.

    • May be required to be licensed in multiple states

    • Position requires frequent travel that meets the needs of the company and community.

    • Schedule will require flexibility and ability to work weekends and extended periods as required by the responsibilities and expectations of the job.
