Lifeguard at Advocate Centre Club - Libertyville

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring a safe and friendly environment for all the aquatic facility members and guests at our client site located in Libertyville, IL!

Performance Goals

You Will:

• Monitor patrons using the facility.
• Enforce and explain rules of the facility as necessary.
• Respond appropriately to any emergency situation.
• Perform chemical testing and document results for five bodies of water four times a day.
• Attend all required staff meetings and training.
• Additional duties as assigned.

What You Will Need:

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Lifeguard certification from American Red Cross or YMCA required.
• Adult CPR/AED/First Aid certifications obtained either in person or hybrid from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required.
• Flu vaccination required during Fall of 2023.
• This client site requires full COVID-19 vaccination as an essential job function. HealthFitness adheres to all federal, state and local COVID-19 vaccination regulations as well as all client COVID-19 vaccination requirements and will obtain the necessary information from candidates prior to employment to ensure compliance. Candidates must be able to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Compensation: $15/Hour - $20/Hour. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.

Required Experience

B.A./B.S. required, proficiency in MS Office, strong oral and written communication skills, demonstrated experience in administrative support and process management and one to three years of experience in a high-volume, customer service environment.
