The Project Manager, Audit and Advisory Services is a key member of the Internal Audit and Advisory Services team at Boston University. This client-facing position reports to the Manager, Audit & Advisory Services, and is responsible for defining, planning, and executing audit project work across University functions. The ideal candidate is a highly experienced, independent, proactive, self-starter with a strong work ethic, a high degree of motivation, and the ability to contribute to a positive team attitude with proven leadership and integrity.
Major duties of this position include:
Work as a business partner with University departments to define project scope and budget, gather and analyze data to draw meaningful conclusions, assess and evaluate internal controls, and assist in solving complex issues.
Direct or lead other staff to ensure successful completion of project work and ongoing professional development. This unique role will provide exposure to a variety of areas in a University setting, including administration, research, academics, operations, and IT.
Identify, plan, and execute complex audit & advisory projects using recognized process improvement frameworks.
Plan and implement departmental process improvement opportunities using technology, data analytics, and best practices.
