Boston University School of Medicine and Metropolitan College is hiring a part-time course educator to teach an evening course on the Medical Campus for the Spring 2022 semester. Not benefits eligible. No relocation support or visa support is available for these positions.
GMS BT 426 MEDICAL MICROBIOLOGY [4 credits]
Pre-requisites: one semester of biology and two semesters of chemistry.
This course provides the student with an understanding of clinically important microorganisms. Students become familiar with the classification, pathogenicity, identification, and prevention and treatment of diseases caused by bacteria, fungi, and parasites. They will also understand the workings of a modern clinical microbiology laboratory. This is a lab course.
This course will be offered in Spring 2022. Course educators are expected to develop and teach the course. The course educator will collaborate with the Director of Biomedical Laboratory & Clinical Sciences Program.
