  • Responsibilities

    (Remote) The National Sales Director will play a key leadership role in building and executing our national sales strategy. You’ll be responsible for managing an existing team, recruiting new sales talent, and driving growth through CRM-informed processes, pipeline management, and relationship-building. This is a high-ownership position for someone who understands what it takes to scale a purpose-driven ag tech company with integrity and ambition. Responsibilities: • Lead, coach, and inspire an existing team of regional sales directors and managers to achieve and exceed sales targets while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence, while also hiring new sales managers. • Own and optimize our sales CRM (HubSpot) to drive visibility, pipeline discipline, and actionable insights. • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives and agricultural market opportunities. • Set and monitor KPIs to meet quarterly and annual revenue targets as well as develop and implement sales incentive plans (SIP) for the sales team. • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, grower support, and agronomist to align messaging, customer experience, and go-to-market strategies. • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, retailers, and producers across key markets to drive business growth and customer loyalty. • Prepare and present detailed sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to executive leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment on results and expectations. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. • Minimum 10 years of experience in sales, with at least 4 years in a leadership or team management role in ag sales. • Proficiency in CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent)—able to drive adoption and analytics. • Proven ability to build, coach, and manage a high-performing sales team. • Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic sales plans that have led to significant revenue growth. • Strong communication and negotiation skills with a proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. • Self-starter mindset with comfort working in a fast-paced, early-stage company environment. • Agriculture sales experience required and familiarity with its unique challenges and opportunities (e.g., agronomy, input sales, ag retail, or regenerative farming systems). Compensation: $120,000
