NOW HIRING - CNC MACHINIST 

Shift: 2nd shift

Pay Range: $24-30/hr - Based on experience

National Tool & Manufacturing is headquartered in East Dundee, Illinois. Our East Dundee facility houses the main office and steel processing plant, while our machining facility is located in Elgin minutes from I-90. Both locations have expanded greatly over the past three years as medical and other domestic industries thrive. At our climate-controlled machining facility, National has purchased four new machines in the past three years to meet growing demand. With investments in the latest machinery, software, and personnel expertise, National has grown to be a recognized leader in the mold base industry.

JOB SUMMARY FOR CNC MACHINIST

In charge of running CNC horizontal and vertical machining centers to make work holding fixtures, individual plate work, hot runner systems, and custom mold bases. Candidate must be able to operate alone and with little supervision while adhering to exact specifications with no setup or scrap components. 50 hours a week are typically worked by this shift.

EXPERIENCE NEEDED:

• Machinist levels typically requires 3-5 years of experience.
• Machinist operates a variety of HMC and/or VMC machines for intermediate milling operations holding a tolerance of +/-.0005.
• Machinist is suggested to have all basic machinist hand tools and measuring equipment.
• Machinist can preform repair work.
• Machinist can provide training to lower-level machinists when instructed.
• Previous experience in tool making, with mold or die tooling is required for top tier salary.

• CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC) (Fanuc, Mazak, ProtoTRAK, Haas, Okuma, Doosan, Kitamura, Makino, Brother, Hurco, Dmg Mori Seiki)

SALARY INFO:

$24 - $30 / HR
