WHAT WOULD YOU DO? THE SPECIFICS.

• Tracks and monitors regulations as it relates to Optometrists in all states (ex: remote care).
• Acts as a gatekeeper and knowledge holder of all compliance related clinical admin projects (ex: monitoring OD/MD licensing regulations, electronic prescribing, after-hours messaging, national credentialing standards, quality assurance standards, and remote care rules).
• Monthly credentialing compliance metrics for our internal audit division
• Works hand and hand with the legal department on processes for compliance of state and federal requirements as it relates to OD's and clinical care.
• Works with legal to ensure leaseholding OD contracts are on par w/state regulation
• Oversees the development and rollout of systems and processes for field use for Optometrists and associates.
• Manages internal audit of clinical administration's credentialing and contracting PIP’s.
• Manages compliance of communications with various independent and direct employed OD's.
• Quarterly OD compliance metrics for legal department
• Manages clinical admin compliance with the company (interdepartmental systems ex: Serve Responses).
• Develops and implements OD malpractice claim reporting/tracking. (create & maintain compliance dashboard)

Qualifications

WORK EXPERIENCE

• 7+ years Experience working in a healthcare compliance position. (Required)
• Four year college degree or equivalent experience. Required
• 2-4 years Experience with spreadsheets, word-processing, outlook, and software helpful. (Preferred)

• 20% Some travel required.
