Job Description
We are seeking an Operations Manager to become an integral part of our team! You will coordinate and oversee a division of the organization's daily operations. We do water restoration, mold and asbestos abatement, hazmat/crime scene cleanup, and fire restoration for commercial clients all across the country.
YOU WILL BE DOING A LOT OF THIS...
- Manage inbound work orders from our clients
- Allocate work orders to our project management team
- Daily communication (written, verbal) with our clients
- Ensure SLA attainment, job deliverable completion, etc
- Developing job quotes and proposals
- Team management
- Data analysis and financial analysis
- Process stuff
SO YOU NEED TO HAVE THIS...
- A tremendous work ethic. Outside of vacation, you will be 'always on'
- Top notch coordination and organization skills. Sometimes you will be slow, and then a hurricane will hit and you will be slammed.
- Really, really good communication and customer management skills. You will be delivering good news, bad news, unwelcome news, and difficult to understand information.
- Comfortable with ambiguity - this is a virtual role and you will have jobs going on in Alaska, Louisiana, and every other state and you will never be onsite.
- Great trouble shooting skills. Trust us, you're going to need them.
- Demonstrated operations management and project management success
- You need to be pretty good with web based tools and office tools
- 5 years of legit operations/project management experience
IDEALLY, BUT NOT NECESSARILY, YOU WILL HAVE THIS TOO...
- Experience in the restoration industry, property management, facilities management, the construction industry, or insurance claims management industry
- An above average understanding of trades (electrician, plumbing, HVAC, etc)
- A four year degree
- Both field experience and office experience
