ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibility of an individual in this role is to conduct and support the design and development of operations for all qualitative observational outcomes studies conducted by NationsBenefits. These studies will be executed through a range of channels including email, phone based automated surveys, phone based live surveys, etc. Outcomes Outreach Specialists will work well as part of a team, responsively solving Medicare beneficiaries' problems with empathy, efficiency, and poised professionalism, ensuring that NationsBenefits members achieve the highest possible satisfaction and outcomes. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED with 1+ years of experience in customer call centers or similar customer facing experience required.
Associates / Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred.
Academic work in public health, psychology, social work, education, (or similar areas) a plus.
Work experience supporting patients in a clinical setting (admitting, billing, scheduling, etc.) a plus.
Strong desire to help people, ability to leverage emotional intelligence and listening skills to solve problems, and ability to marshal extreme patience when dealing with deeply unhappy people who need to be supported and then gently coached on how to address their problem(s).
