    JOB DUTIES

    • SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with occasional overtime.
    • RATE OF PAY: Starting at $22 per hour.
    • Facilitating background checks for all new hires and sending out new hire welcome letters.
    • Facilitate with recruiting needs (ad hoc projects).
    • Maintains paperless personnel files.
    • Promote employee morale through individual relationships and effective communication and coordinating recognition programs and events with the Receptionist.
    • Communicate Human Resources policies and procedures.
    • Listen to staff concerns and elevate issues to the appropriate individuals (Supervisor(s), Manager, Ops Director or VP).
    • Assist safety liaison (Ops Supervisor and/or Ops Director).
    • Prepares First Report of Injury for workers compensation and works closely with team to manage WC claims.
    • May also assist or perform other office administrative functions such as keying KPI metrics/data into the HRIS system.
    • Efficiently perform the sorting, scanning, filing documents as needed/requested.
    • Effectively communicate with upper management and/or vendors/customers.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

    • High school degree required. College credit toward Associates or Bachelor's in Business Administration/Human Resources is a plus.
    • One–two years of HR Coordinator experience with a basic knowledge of labor laws. Clerical/Administrative experience in a fast pace in-office (call center) setting or similar environment is a plus.
    • Proficient in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) and excellent data entry skills.
    • Experience working with complex information systems; ADP and/or other similar systems experience is a plus.
    • Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
    • Must be extremely organized, detail oriented and possess the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality required.
    • Other: Working remotely is not available for this position.
