Incumbent follows all DOT and FMCSA regulations, makes safety a top priority, follows all Rock Solid documentation policies and procedures, and delivers loads to project sites on time and in a safe and professional manner. Drivers are a key component to making sure that the job is done timely and successfully. This is a multi-faceted position including, but not limited to, the following. Responsibilities: • Follow all safety programs and procedures diligently to ensure a secure work environment. • Collaborate with job site crews to load, transport, and unload materials, prioritizing timely delivery appointments. • Adhere to Federal, State, and local DOT and FMCSA regulations, as well as internal policies, licensing, and certifications. • Thoroughly check and match materials and quantities on each load with a bill of lading, demonstrating keen attention to detail. • Maintain professional and clear communication with customers, subcontractors, coworkers, vendors, inspectors, and the public. • Act as a Company representative during all interactions. • Perform daily pre- and post-trip equipment inspections, promptly reporting any issues for resolution. • Ensure the truck and trailer are clean, safe, and well-maintained during job assignments. • Keep accurate electronic logs of hours of service in compliance with regulations. • Proficiently use phone applications for dispatch information and paperwork management. • Stay compliant with the CDL license requirements. • Willingness to travel out of town for varying durations. • Fulfill any other duties as necessary and assigned. Qualifications: • Class A CDL is a requirement for this position, with Tanker endorsements being a plus but not mandatory for interstate driving. • Minimum age requirement is 21 years. • Willingness to travel for varying durations, ranging from 1 week to 2+ months, depending on the project. • Possession and maintenance of a current medical card are mandatory. • Experience with manual transmission is advantageous. • A good driving history with no recent major driving citations or violations is necessary, along with verifiable previous driving employment. • Pre-employment screenings include drug tests, background checks, FMCSA PSP, MVR checks, and compliance with DOT drug and alcohol programs. • Proficiency in using modern technology like smartphones and tablets is essential. • Safety must be a primary expectation while maintaining a sense of urgency for team success. • While preferred, pneumatic bulk hauling experience is not required as training will be provided. Compensation: $65,000 - $100,000+
