Overview:

As a Purchasing Coordinator you are responsible for monitoring and administering activities involved in the procurement of goods and services required by Nationwide Video. You will participate in the research and qualifying of vendors who can supply these goods and assist in executing the purchase and delivery of goods. Your work will be in direct support of the purchasing manager and all related Nationwide Video departments.

• Coordinates the process of purchasing a good or service efficiently
• Works with vendors to ensure that products are delivered according to schedule and that purchasing terms and conditions are clear and agreed upon
• ·Store and retrieve purchase orders, proof of purchase, proof of delivery, pricing quotes, receipts and other necessary documents
• Oversee process for delivery of purchased materials and services, and administer internal system data of purchase timeline
• Monitor deliveries and any past due shipments
• Maintains knowledge of relevant software used to order and track goods and services
• Researches and identifies new vendors or contractors based on the needs of the organization, team, program or initiatives

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. ****

Physical Demands:

Walk, sit, stand, bend, lift, and move continuously during work hours. Is subject to lifting over 10 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Working 40 hours per week Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Nationwide Video days and hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm

Travel:

Travel may be required for this position as mandated by the needs of the multiple Nationwide locations which may include out-of-area and overnight travel.

Required Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of purchase contract experience
• Minimum of 3 years of Oracle or SAP business operating system experience
• Associates Degree in a Business related field

Preferred Education and Experience:

• 5+ years of purchase contract experience
• 4+ years of Oracle or SAP business operating system experience
• 1+ years of A/V industry experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in a Business related field
