Senior Accountant
Responsibilities:
Advanced knowledge of the existence and competency of financial systems and procedures to comply with GAAP, and company procedures to guarantee the integrity of financial reporting.
Perform various accounting activities focusing in the areas of financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and fixed assets accounting.
Prepare general journal entries for various transactions during the month.
Prepare well supported general ledger account reconciliations.
Collect and file sales tax forms from vendors and outside customers.
Oversee and manage the cost involving the company’s inventory operations.
Oversee payroll and accounts payable.
Manage client invoicing and associated collection processes.
Supervise and coach the current staff in the finance department.
Direct the month end, forecasting and planning processes to facilitate the timely and accuracy of results.
Direct the efforts with sales to further develop and utilize the existing sales/order system to provide better analysis and reporting.
Identify areas for financial process improvement and lead the improvement efforts.
All other duties as assigned.

Thorough understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Thorough understanding of generally accepted auditing standards.

Thorough understanding of project management.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance or Accounting from an accredited institution.
· Minimum of 5 years of accounting and/or finance experience.
· Minimum of 2 years of managing/supervising experience.
· All other duties as assigned.

Master’s degree

SAP, QuickBooks

The expected annual salary range for this role is $69,585.00 – $116,082.00 a year.
