Job Description

We offer $13-$14 per hour, depending on experience. This is a first shift position, which is from 5:30am - 4pm with a 30 minute lunch and 2 twenty minute breaks. There is opportunity for over time if the business requires it. 

This is a critical position in the production of our Quality Boats. The Technician inspects each boat for defects on the Gel-Coat surface. Working successfully in our team environment is key, and the perfect candidate must have an eye for details. This individual must be able to work with minimal supervision, and follow our Quality Standards we have in place. All areas of the boat must be inspected for any Gel-Coat defects and will properly mix Gel-Coats and putties when making repairs. Individuals in this position will buff and sand parts as needed. 

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience with Gel-Coat finish or Automotive paint repair
• Experienced with various pneumatic and power tools
• Able to follow instructions
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Capable of working in a non-climate controlled environment
• Extremely detail oriented
• Able to bend, squat, climb and stand for extended periods of time
• Must wear proper safety equipment including respirator if needed
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
