Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Level III Business Systems Analyst to join our team on the Department of the Navy's General Ledger System Data Cleansing Project. In this pivotal role, you will independently apply advanced technical expertise to develop and implement innovative business solutions for complex financial and IT systems. You will be responsible for leading and providing direction to project teams, ensuring efficient collaboration and timely completion of project deliverables. Your ability to interact with FM&C and Government clients at the Branch and Division Head Level will be crucial in gathering and documenting business requirements, offering subject matter expertise, and making recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements. An active DoD Secret or higher clearance is required for this position. As a Level III Business Systems Analyst, you will play a key role in driving the successful implementation of business solutions for the Department of the Navy, making a significant impact on critical financial and IT initiatives.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Analyze business requirements and develop solutions for system consolidation/migration, modernization, and ERP implementation.
• Lead project teams, assign tasks, manage resources, and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business solutions.
• Conduct data analysis and validation, ensuring compliance with audit and accounting standards.
• Interact with clients to gather requirements, provide expertise, and make recommendations.
• Develop and maintain project documentation.
• Resolve complex issues related to business systems and processes.
• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and technology advancements.
• Mentor junior business systems analysts as needed.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Active DoD Secret or higher clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate technical field.
• Six (6) years of relevant experience in business systems analysis, IT system implementation, financial systems environments, or related field.
Preferred Experience:
• Experience in systems consolidation/migration, modernization, ERP implementation, IT system audit readiness, IT audit reviews, IT system control documentation, and/or FISCAM and Risk Management Framework (RMF) implementation.
• Proficiency in SAP, Oracle Federal Financials, or other relevant financial systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and provide expert guidance to project teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• CISA or similar IT professional certification.
