    Job Summary: As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a vital role in supporting our accounting department by assisting with various financial tasks. You will work closely with experienced accountants and finance professionals, providing you with the opportunity to learn and grow in your accounting career.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Assist with processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and monitoring accounts receivable.
    • General Ledger: Participate in journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and month-end close procedures.
    • Payroll: Payroll data entry and payroll review as required.
    • On-boarding and Off-boarding: On-board and off-board new and terminated employees in the financial system.
    • Expense Management: Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
    • Financial Reporting: Assist in generating financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
    • Bank Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling bank statements and maintaining accurate cash records.
    • Audit Support: Provide documentation and support during internal and external audits.
    • Financial Analysis: Support financial analysis efforts by gathering and organizing data for analysis.
    • Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulations.
    • Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
    • Ad Hoc Tasks: Undertake various ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned by senior accountants or supervisors.

    Location: On-Site in Rancho Bernardo 5 days a week

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
    • Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and willingness to learn accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
    • Prior accounting or finance internship or coursework is a plus.
