    Job Description

    JOB SUMMARY:

    The Marketing Assistant handles various tasks that ensure the smooth daily marketing support of the firm and associated brands. Their tasks typically include performing administrative duties and assisting with project management and marketing, and they work directly with the Chief Operating Officer daily.

    THE MARKETING ASSISTANT WILL FOCUS ON FOUR PRIMARY AREAS FOR ALL FIRM BRANDS:

    • Provides Online Reputation Management Support
    • Manage all social media accounts;
    • Manage email campaigns;
    • Radio/TV representative contact;
    • Manage the firm's outreach and Blog strategy;

    EMPLOYEE

    • Follow and be on board with the company's core values & mission, and vision.
    • Be open to new ideas, strategies, and training by the Supervisor.
    • Participate or lead in weekly department meetings.

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Additional duties may be assigned

     

    ONLINE REPUTATION MANAGEMENT

    Create a systematic, multiplatform approach to developing and maintaining the firm's online reputation and image.

    Determine online arenas that mention, discuss, or refer to the firm.

    Engage appropriately where the firm's name is mentioned.

    Develop and maintain a strategy to brand individual attorneys within the firm.

    Respond to all Google Reviews

    Manage Online management through Grade.us or other related programs.

     

    SOCIAL MEDIA

    • Develop and maintain social media strategies for firm brands;
    • Design, build and maintain our social media presence on several different platforms to drive traffic to the firm's website.
    • Ensure presence and message is consistent across all platforms.
    • Appropriately engage with clients on social media, including responding to comments, shared, etc.
    • Manage any social media contests generated to increase likes, shares, and overall brand recognition.

    EMAIL CAMPAIGNS

    • Build and maintain consumer and client email database to create additional contact and client touchpoints based on segmentation.
    • Build email segmentation strategies that use consumer and client data insights, such as client demographics, client history, and marketing preferences.
    • Work with the marketing agency to ensure creative testing maximizes engagement and profitability across all segments and platforms.
    • Give direction on Can-Spam requirements, ISPs, monitoring tools, and industry best practices.

    RADIO/TV

    • Develop and maintain a library of radio, TV, and video ads the firm uses.
    • Track lead performance for each copy.
    • Track the time a single pair of ads run and calendar the copy's need to change.
    • Audit Monthly involves ensuring the firm receives the contracted number of spots purchased during the contracted period.
    • Contact representatives in each market to obtain make goods for any spots preempted
    • Review and report upon the performance of ads and make recommendations as to the type of ads the firm would be best suited to run (i.e..) competency ads vs. likeability.
    • Work with the stations for the annual buys.
    • Maintain a list of media contacts.

    OUTREACH/BLOG

    • Develop and maintain the firm brand outreach strategy.
    • Develop relationships with local, hyperlocal, and national reporters to become a go-to source of legal news.
    • Pitch story ideas, as appropriate, to local, hyperlocal and national media for exposure for our attorneys and firm.
    • Event planning to garner a reputation and trust within the community
    • Analyze and research competitors.
    • Work with local schools to obtain links to promote Scholarship giveaways, including.EDU links.
    • Create, write, and manage website blogs and content. All content focuses on organic growth (keyword research) and conversion optimization opportunities (i.e., new landing pages).
    • Deliver the firm's message or story by creating compelling and valuable content that establishes the firm as the leader in respected areas of law.
    • Use blog to discuss cases, and developments in the law, relay client results, and address client concerns.

    PROVIDES OPERATIONAL SUPPORT FOR THE FIRM

    • Welcomes clients into the office
    • Opens new cases
    • Office mail, incoming and outgoing
