    EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

    Navigate Affordable Housing Partners (Navigate) is a Birmingham based nonprofit working in the affordable housing industry.
    This position is based in Birmingham, AL and will be responsible for performing a variety of high-level administrative tasks for the CEO, other members of senior management, and the Board of Directors.

    Major Tasks and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
     Perform a variety of administrative functions, which include but are not limited to, drafting internal and external
    correspondence, maintaining records, preparing, and sending correspondence, scanning and records management.
     Coordinate, plan and attend all regular Board of Directors meetings, special sessions, and activities, including gathering
    documentation for the accompanying agenda, notifying Board members of meetings, and drafting and maintaining board
    minutes.
     Maintain the calendar and schedule of the CEO, managing meeting and event requests and preparing agendas and meeting
    materials.
     Coordinate travel arrangements and registration, when appropriate, for all conferences, workshops, seminars, and meetings to
    include completing expense reports and related tasks.

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities include, but are not limited to:
     Thorough knowledge of office administration, project management, and general office administration policies and procedures
    which includes thorough knowledge and use of business English and grammar, and basic spelling, vocabulary, and math skills.
     Strong organizational and time management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
     Excellent written and verbal communication skills
     Proficient in using productivity tools such as MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), collaboration software, and web-based
    tools and software.

    Minimum Requirements
     An associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university, or the equivalent in skill and experience.
     3-5 years of experience providing administrative support in a government or corporate environment; executive level
    administrative support experience preferred.
     Must pass a post offer criminal background check, motor vehicle records check, a physical including drug screening, possess a
    valid driver’s license and have the ability to be insured under all corporate insurance policies.
