Job Description

Maintain and oversee all accounting related matters and transactions for the Boston based restaurant group. This role reports to and interacts daily with the management team and ownership.

Responsibilities:

• Post all daily activity to hospitality accounting software including but not limited to vendor invoices, daily sales reports, bank reconciliations, and merchant processing
• Vendor communication
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports and recommendations
• Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual financial closings ensuring timely and accurate general ledger and financial reporting
• Ensure all proper quarterly and annual tax filings are timely and accurate
• Assist with weekly payroll and inventory control
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Three years professional accounting experience required
• Highly knowledgable with various accounting/inventory softwares and Microsoft Office
• Attention to detail and accuracy
