    Nayo Partners is leading the hiring for our client,  a team of real estate professionals based in Oakland, CA operating with a well-known brokerage.  For more than 20 years, our client has served residential real estate buyers and sellers throughout the entire bay area.  The client is on track for a high volume of transactions in 2021 and seeking an assistant to support this expansion. 

    Real Estate Assistant Job Description 

    As an integral part of the team, we will rely heavily on the real estate assistant to keep things flowing smoothly at all times.  Residential real estate is a fast moving industry and the ideal candidate needs to be able to respond quickly to the needs of clients, as well as interface with other stakeholders, such as other agents, title companies, lenders and all parties involved with any real estate transaction.  

    To be successful as a Real Estate Assistant you should be highly organized and socially confident. An outstanding Real Estate Assistant should be able to keep the office running smoothly and enable the sales agents to perform efficiently.

    This role is ideal for a highly organized person with fantastic administrative skills.  We are looking for a candidate who is seeking a stable employment opportunity.  This is NOT a role for someone pursuing a career as a licensed real estate salesperson.

    Real Estate Assistant Responsibilities:

    • Greeting clients, answering the telephone and making follow-up calls
    • Preparing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and making travel arrangements
    • Preparing real estate forms and documents
    • Coordinating showings, assisting at open houses, and obtaining feedback
    • Ordering supplies, preparing and distributing marketing materials
    • Maintaining electronic and paper filing systems
    • Preparing listing materials and posting property listings
    • Managing a client database and preparing reports
    • Assisting with closing processes
    • Performing other duties as assigned
    • Social Media posting

     

    Real Estate Assistant Requirements:

    • High school diploma/GED.
    • Previous experience in the real estate industry is beneficial but not required
    • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Technical proficiency
    • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Must have reliable transportation
    • Bonus: availability on occasional weekends to host open houses
